I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Xavier University of Louisiana, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors in Biology, Chemistry, and English. I majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I also tutored in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics during my college years.I originally thought I wanted to be a doctor, but after attending the University of Maryland School of Medicine, I learned that I prefer to teach; something I have enjoyed since childhood. Currently, I live in Bowie, Maryland where I use my teaching skills to tutor in Anatomy, Biology, Microbiology, Physiology, Nutrition, and several different sciences. Because I enjoy science, I am able to make it interesting for my students by finding ways to relate subjects to their interests. My eventual goal is to specialize in research and teaching, so I am returning to school for a master's degree, followed by a PhD. In my free time, I like to watch movies, listen to music, and do a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking.
