I am located in Bowie, Maryland. I graduated with honors at NSU, and I received a BS in applied mathematics. I enjoy helping others comprehend and appreciate math as much as I do. During 2 years of my college career, I tutored my peers in a variety of levels of algebra and calculus. Once I graduated, I worked as a private tutor in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio, until I made the decision to move to Bowie. The topics that I favor are algebra and calculus. I appreciate algebra because it is a foundational topic of math. I value calculus because of its applicability to a wide-array of subjects. I believe that without these subjects to create a firm foundation, building upon one's math skills would not be possible. With that said, once a student understands a concept, I have them do the process multiple times until it is done with ease. Other subjects I can tutor are geometry, elementary math, middle school math, precalculus, and test prep. During my free time, I like to read, lift weights, play basketball and baseball, and I am also fond of traveling.
