After receiving my academic credentials from Temple University, I began my career as a teacher. My professional experiences are diverse including helping elementary school children learn about nature at a nature center. My teaching philosophy is that every student has his or her own pace. I am willing to stay with a pupil for as long as it takes them to master a discipline. When I see a student's face light up after finally grasping a concept, it's a great moment for me as a teacher. Opening up and establishing a great relationship with my students is an important part of my teaching strategy. This allows us to work well together and create the ultimate learning experience. Students find me a passionate teacher dedicated to helping them learn to the greatest extent. Whether working with an individual or a team, I interact with my pupils well. I am adept at tutoring elementary math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra I, algebra II, calculus I, and trigonometry. I also tutor students preparing to take standardized exams. I've tutored AP World History, AP Macroeconomics, AP Calculus AB, AP U.S. Government & Politics, and AP Human Geography. When I have free time away from the classroom, I work with Habitat for Humanity.
