I enjoy seeing people excel. I love learning and every single day I learn new things either through the traditional way of picking up a book or through my experiences. There is a satisfaction I get when I see someone transition from a state of confusion to confidence in the subject at hand. I customize my tutoring to the individual as we all learn in different ways; some depend on visual cues while some learn through auditory prompts. My background is in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and I also have a Master's degree in Biotechnology Management. I have over 10 years' experience in the biotech industry and can comment on practical aspects of a job in biotechnology. I am also a self-taught expert in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro. So not only can I discuss and teach about genetics and how our everyday decisions have a direct impact on our genes, I show you how to create a DNA helix using Photoshop! My entire adult life has been dedicated to the study of science. Starting with a Bachelor's degree from UMBC then graduating to independent research in nutrition and its effect on the development of cancer. I am able to impart this knowledge on a willing student.
