I enjoy teaching so much that I am currently pursuing my second master's degree in adult education. My first master's degree is in curriculum and instruction (K 7-12 biology), and my bachelor's degree is in biology. I love math and science. Instilling an interest and passion for math and science in my students is fulfilling to me. I have been teaching for seven years. In addition to instilling passion for math and science in my students, my other goals are to maximize each student's performance and to help them develop self-worth, responsibility, and respect. All students learn differently, so through experience and education, I have developed skills for individualized instructions, differentiated instructions, and scaffolding lessons. I have researched, learned, and practiced the ability to recognize, appreciate, and reinforce the outcomes I want to see from my students, making them a reality. I am available to tutor students in middle school through college, in subjects such as: pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, life sciences, biology, and chemistry. I can help students study for various tests and even the GED, so they can move forward with their education or career. When I'm not teaching, I can be found exploring Washington DC and listening to music.
